About

My name is Sue Eggen & I’m the heart & hands of Giant Dwarf. My artistic adventure began in 2003 in Portland, Oregon with a passion for reconstructing recycled fabrics & an intuitive desire to create with color. After a cross-country move to Pennsylvania in 2005, the company began to grow & reinvent itself as more than just a hobby.

Giant Dwarf has now become an integral part of the indie craft scene, participating in events coast to coast, such as the Renegade Craft Fair & Martha Stewart’s Divine Craft Sale, as well as grabbing the attention of national publications & design blogs, such as The New York Times & Design Sponge.

Inspired by early 20th century rhinestone performance-wear & floral hair adornments, each piece is carefully assembled & professionally constructed by hand using only the finest materials such as German glass glitter, reclaimed wool from sweaters & Fancy Felt, our own line of wool blend felt. The result is a showcase of decadence, guaranteed to make any woman feel glamorous whenever worn.
